"We wanted a new deck for awhile. We approached a decking company that was in Edmonton and we ended up designing the deck ourselves with little input from the deck company. We didn’t move forward for over a year due to the high cost and complexity of using a company outside of town. Nate brought a lot of great ideas to our design and it was clear from the initial consultation that this was the right company for the job.

Nate finished with the estimate and we were shocked that the estimate was 33% lower than our previous estimate. We moved forward with the deck. Nate and his team were very professional throughout the building process and their attention to detail was amazing. Throughout the process Nate and his team were very approachable and helpful.

"My initial contact with Nate was to cover our existing deck with vinyl to prevent having to paint it year after year. Upon personal inspection Nate, found decay under the deck that we were not aware of.  Nate was concerned for our family’s safety and did not want to cover the existing deck even though other contractors had given us quotes.

Later during the construction process of a new deck, when the old deck was removed, it was very evident there was much decay. In addition the old deck had been pulling away from the house.  Clearly it would not have been safe, and a waste of money to have gone with any of the other contractor’s offers.

We had an existing pergola and pond feature that I did not want to give up. Nate was able to construct the new deck, within the parameters of the existing pergola.  In addition Nate replaced my existing wood tub pond, with a waterfall cascading into a natural looking pond as the focus from the deck. All the features of the new deck and pond blend together nicely with the existing pergola, house and yard.

Nate was very patient and encouraging over numerous emails and phone calls, helping me with the decisions that needed to be made about replacing our old dilapidated deck. Nate’s pricing and payment arrangements are fair and reasonable and he was always very professional. His knowledge, skill and vision have changed our backyard into a relaxing environment which we will enjoy for many years."
